We had Maine Street R&B Revue this past weekend for our 40th celebration and I would highly recommend them. They are excellent musicians, the playlist was great and they were very professional. The crowd loved the music and the dance floor was packed for the entire evening. We will definitely find a way to work with them again – well worth their fee.

Every aspect of our wedding day turned out to be perfect, unbelievably perfect really, and one of the absolutely critical pieces of our ceremony and reception was the exceptional music performed live by Maine Street R&B Revue.
After our wedding many guests approached us to comment that the wedding day was magical. Many felt a special energy in the air, and everyone enjoyed themselves, felt included, and didn't want the night to end. When reflecting on why this wedding felt a bit different than most they had attended, everyone mentioned the band! All of our guests, young and old, were on the floor dancing all night with us. The members of this band are so talented, and, in our opinion, and the opinion of our guests, worth every cent of their reasonable performance fee.
We could not be more grateful to Maine St. R & B for providing the fabulous entertainment on the best night of our lives! Why would anyone hire a DJ when this incredible (and affordable) band is an option? We had friends tell us they wish they had hired Maine St. R&B Revue for their weddings. When we booked Maine Street R & B Revue for the 2018 Wednesday On Main Summer Event series in Bucksport, we did a little homework and knew they'd be good . What we didn't really know is that they'd be absolutely spectacular. The crowd loved them, lots of folks up dancing, the musicians are brilliant, as are the vocalists - it was a perfect evening. I immediately asked them to return for the 2019 season, and can't wait to hear them again. Professional, extremely talented, polished, and engaging - 10 stars on the 5 star scale!

My son was married Saturday, August 20th, 2016, at The Lookout Inn in Brooklin, Maine (Blue Hill area). After speaking with and listening to sample audio from various groups, my son and his fiancée selected Maine Street R&B Revue to perform at their wonderful and very fun wedding. Additionally, two members of the group (Piano and Flute), played beautifully at the wedding ceremony prior to the reception. The primary reasons for selecting Maine Street R&B Revue was the variety and extent of the repertoire and the reasonable fee structure that matched their budget. The future bride and groom were very focused on selecting music that would please all wedding attendees, young, old and middle-aged. Additionally they wanted music that would encourage as many to dance and enjoy the event as possible.
Maine Street R&B Revue exceeded our (bride, groom and both sets of parents) expectations in all regards. The setup and breakdown of equipment was efficient and unobtrusive. More importantly, the quality of the music – horns, vocals, percussion, guitars and piano — was outstanding. The instrumentation was very “tight," vocal harmonies precise and transition between songs well-paced. It seemed all attendees felt similarly. One of my son’s friends of many years stated that he has been to many weddings recently, and he has never seen so many wedding guests of all ages on the dance floor and enjoying themselves during the entire set! Finally, and primarily because everyone was having so much fun, the band accommodated the guests with an encore that ended their performance in style.

My husband and I could not have been happier to have Maine St. R&B Revue play our wedding on New Year's Eve. They brought the party! Pat was extremely professional and easy to work with from the very beginning, making sure we were happy with the incredible R&B playlist, and even learning a couple of new songs per our request. Their sound is big, bold, and the best! Our entire wedding of 175 people got onto the dance floor and did not leave all night. It was a blast, and we are grateful to have had them be a part of our very special day. So many of our guests wanted to know who they were so they could pass the good word along. We strongly recommend hiring them for your next party!

This was the 2nd year that we hired Maine St R&B for our 46th annual International Seaplane Fly-In. They are an incredible 9 piece band that plays any song you have ever wanted to dance to! We could not have been happier with Maine Street R&B Revue. The band delivered a fantastic performance at our wedding on September 14, 2019. They handled everything we asked of them with grace and aplomb and, to be clear, we asked a great deal. We got married on Little Cranberry Island, an island accessible only by boat which the Maine State Ferry Service does not serve. The band got their instruments, their audio equipment and themselves out to Islesford on schedule without incident or complaint. This was no easy task given the marine weather conditions on our wedding day.
We also asked Maine Street R&B Revue to perform a number of songs that were not previously in their repertoire at our wedding. The band rehearsed these songs extensively in the weeks leading up to our wedding and, unprompted by us, sent us links to YouTube videos of their rehearsals. By the evening of our wedding, the band knew these songs inside and out and delivered masterful renditions of each of them. Our guests surely had no idea that the band had not performed these songs previously.
Many of our guests sought us out specifically to mention how great the music was. From the moment they began playing until our venue-mandated hard stop time, Maine Street R&B Revue had guests across the age spectrum out on the floor dancing. Maine Street R&B Revue surely would have continued to play well past this stop time if they were permitted to do so, and our guests would have danced right on with them.
It was important to us that Maine Street R&B Revue is local to Eastern Maine, but their performance was every bit the equal of other bands from away. We look forward to working with Maine Street R&B Revue again in the years to come. We just need another occasion to throw a party.

There was never any question in my mind that I wanted Maine St. R&B Revue to play at my wedding. Mr. O was my music teacher in high school, and while many girls dream about what their wedding dress will look like, or what the flowers will be, I was imagining which songs would be played, and how much Earth, Wind & Fire or Tower of Power I could get away with. There is never a dull moment when they're playing and not a weak song in their repertoire. If you're looking for a band that will have you and everyone you know glued to the dance floor then look no further. It was so much fun having them perform, and I would have them again in a heartbeat.

You know you’ve got the right band for your wedding when the lead singer at the very beginning of the night confidently states, “Don’t worry if you’re not dancing now, we’ll get you by the end of the night”… and she’s 100% right.
My fiancé (now wife ) found Maine Street R&B Revue online while we were looking for bands for our wedding. After listening to their demo and looking at their song list, we knew our search was over. We soon reached out to Pat to set up a time to discuss the next steps. Pat is friendly, professional, and had some fantastic ideas for our ceremony and the reception. Anytime during the planning process when we had a request, or needed clarification or confirmation, Pat was always prompt with his replies and more than happy to help.
The day-of went by faster than everyone told us it would, but one thing that really sticks out was just how much fun everyone was having during the reception. It made us so happy to see old friends and distance family all singing and dancing together; and Maine Street R&B Revue absolutely made that possible. The band has incredible chemistry and a wonderfully balanced sound, and you can immediately tell just how talented all the band members are. When the banquet staff is dancing at the end of the night, you have the right musicians. The one regret we have is that we didn’t get them to play longer.
